Pictured on the links above are samples of some wedding certificates I’ve designed.  Since these certificates are meant to be family heirlooms, all were made using archival materials: 100% rag watercolor paper, archival ink and egg tempera paint for the decoration.  Gold leafing (22K gold) is also available. Most of the certificates are designed to be large enough for wedding guests to sign the bottom portion.  In most of these samples only the top portion is shown. Paper size varies according to the length of the vows and the number of guests, but generally the size is 22” x 30”.

You select the calligraphic style and motif that you desire.  The design can be as simple or as complex as you would like, and is not limited to the examples pictured here.  All of my wedding certificates are made to order, and are original works of art.  I send a detailed rough draft for approval before I execute the final piece.

The wedding certificates pictured range in cost from $200
(for an undecorated certificate) to $900 (very large and elaborate certificate) depending upon the length of the vows, and the size and complexity of the design.  I can work within your budget.  Typically, I need at least six weeks to design and paint the certificate, but rush jobs are possible for an extra fee of approximately $75.00.

Please note that some of the samples look a bit dark, in most cases the paper that I use has an ivory cast.  Other papers are available if requested.
